ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar upon his return from London appeared before the Accountability Court in federal capital today, Aaj News reported
Dar was summoned in connection with reference filed against him in pursuance of Supreme Court verdict in Panama Papers.
However, Dar was granted bail as he submitted a surety bond worth one million rupees. Earlier this month, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had issued a bailable arrest warrant against the finance minister, after he failed to act in accordance with summon issued by the same court.
The SC has been adjourned the hearing till Wednesday. According to sources NAB court will file charges against Ishaq Dar on September 27.
