Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued bailable arrest warrants of PTI leader Imran Khan in a contempt of court case.
The warrants were issued after Thursday’s hearing in Islamabad.
Imran Khan was issued notice to appear in person today but PTI chief failed to do so.
Later, talking to newsmen founding member of PTI Akbar S. Babar said Imran is back in the country and he should have appeared the Commission on Thursday.
He said Imran is deliberately avoiding cases against him.
Earlier, ECP reserved its verdict in contempt of court case against PTI chief Imran Khan.
