That Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah has doubts about Imran Khan’s political astuteness is a news that constitutes a sardonic comment on the country’s politicians. Only recently Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan is still a novice in politics. According to him, the former cricketer still has a lot to learn about politics.
Insofar as traditional patterns of politics in Pakistan are concerned, Imran seems to have introduced a new trend, attracting more and more people to his justice-based and corruption-free Pakistan agenda. He has been attacking both Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari in his speeches that he delivers at his party’s rallies and TV talk shows. One would tend to agree with the chief minister on the fact that Imran’s approach to politics is characterised by lack of experience, wisdom, or judgement. But more people will certainly gravitate to the charm and naivety of Imran’s personality and his agenda.
