QUETTA: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has reiterated Federal Government’s full support to Balochistan Government for improving law and order situation.
He was chairing a meeting on law and order situation in the province in Quetta on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister stated that sacrifices rendered by all law enforcement agencies’ personnel are unmatchable for bringing peace in Balochistan.
Secretary Home Balochistan presented detailed briefing on law and order.
Security measures for Zaireen was also discussed in detail.
The meeting offered prayers for the martyrs of terrorist incident that occurred recently in Quetta.
The meeting was attended among others by Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Sardar Sanaullah Zehri, Federal Minister SAFRON Abdul Qadir, National Security Advisor Nasser Janjua, Commander Southern Command, IG FC, Home Minister Balochistan, Chief Secretary of the province and IG Police.
Earlier, talking to the Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri at the Governor House Quetta, Prime Minister said sacrifices rendered by security forces for restoration of peace would not be allowed to go waste.
Nawab Sanaullah Zehri apprised the Prime Minister that law and order situation in Balochistan has considerably improved as the back of the terrorists has been broken.
Chairing another meeting on Balochistan’s development projects in Quetta on Tuesday, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said socio economic development of the people of Balochistan is the priority of the federal government.
The additional chief secretary gave a detailed briefing on developmental projects including CPEC, tubewells’ solarization, special economic zones, water management and oil and gas projects.
The meeting was attended amongst others by the governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan and SAFRON Minister Abdul Qadir Baloch.—Radio Pakistan
