ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb in her reaction to the judgment of Supreme Court has said that standard maintained in Panama Papers case has been negated in this case.
Talking to news persons in Islamabad this evening (Friday), she said not only leadership of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf but also the entire party will be disqualified by the Election Commission in foreign funding case.
The Minister of State said PML-N has the constitutional right to express reservations on these judgments.
Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that different parameters to disqualify former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and to qualify Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan will be debated in days to come.
In a tweet message, he said today’s verdict will raise questions for rule of law in future.—Radio Pakistan
