Tea can be used to maintain and restore your hair color. Black teas are the best for darker hues and chamomile for blondes.
Dip 3 to 5 teabags in two cups of boiling water then apply it on your clean and wetted hair. You can also mix it with conditioner. Leave it for an hour then wash it. Repeat the process at least once a week.
Beet, carrot and Lemon juice
Beet, carrot or lemon juice can be used to restore your vibrant highlights. Beets are for darker red, carrots for softer orange and lemon for golden blonde.
Mix 1 cup of juice with your conditioner or coconut oil, then massage into hair. Leave it for 1 hour then wash it.
Potato skin is a natural hair-darkening dye. Boil two cups of water with one cup of potato skin for at least 25 minutes, let the water cool down. Then part your hair into several sections. Pour the liquid. Rinse your hair with cool water after sometime.
You can repeat the process regularly until you get the desired colour.
