KARACHI: As per initial investigation and autopsy report the police has came to the conclusion that the death of Pakistan Peoples Party’s Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani and his wife Fareeha Razaq was a homicide and suicide case, Aaj News reported.
According to the statement issued by Police, Bijarani first shot his wife and then committed suicide with the same weapon as the shells collected from the crime scene were shot from the same weapon.
The body of Bijarani was shifted to his native Karampur village in Kashmore district through an air-ambulance. Mean while funeral prayers of his wife Fareeha will be offered after Friday prayers at Sultan Mosque in Defence Housing Authority.
Bodies of Bijrani and his wife Fareeha Razaq, a known activist and a former member of Sindh Cabinet were recovered from their bedroom.
Chief of a large Baloch tribe, Bijarani, had a strong following in the remote parts of the province and was highly respected by people for his commitment to the cause of democracy and also for his literary pursuits.
