A three member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed has adjourned the hearing of contempt of court case against Minister for Privatisation Daniyal Aziz till 19th of this month.
The Supreme Court on last Friday issued a contempt of court notice to Aziz and directed him to appear today (Wednesday), reportedly over his controversial speeches and statements made during various TV talk shows.
Aziz was then given 10 days to finalise counsel. The court also issued notices to the attorney general to appear at the next hearing.
The hearing was adjourned until February 19.
