A video clip is doing rounds on social media in which an unidentified elderly Sikh man takes a responsibility of walking up his Muslims neighbors in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district for Sehri.
In the footage of 21 seconds, a man can be seen beating the drum to wake up his neighbors, is being widely shared on various social media platforms in Srinagar.
The Sikh man shouts, ‘Allah Rasool de pyaaro, jannat de talabgar, utho roza rakho (The beloved of Allah and his messenger, the seekers of paradise, wake up to start your fast)’.
Generally, this task is performed by Muslim in the month of Ramadan, but this new initiative can help a lot to bring people together.
