KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Friday said his party’s manifesto is to save Pakistan by implementing Benazir Bhutto’s promises.
Bilawal, who is contesting his first general election next month, said the PPP had strengthen democracy in Pakistan with the help of 18th amendment to the constitution.
He was talking exclusively to Asma Sherazi of Aaj News.
Bilawal was of the view that public issues can be resolved only through parliament.”Our priority would be to solve issues faced by masses”.
While targeting his political opponents, Bilawal alleged that no development work was done in Punjab or Kyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He also explained why he chose to contest election from Karachi by saying that he wants to get the city rid of problems. “Everybody wants to take the credit of prevailing peace in Karachi”.
Bilawal said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz ignored Balochistan for last five years but his party raised voice for the rights of the province.
