KARACHI: A suspected suicide bomber, who tried to target Sindh Rangers check post in Karachi’s Northern Bypass area, blew himself up after he was stopped by officers during snap checking.
According to Sindh Ranger spokesman, security personnel tried to stop the attacker but he blew himself up after a brief exchange of fire between them.
Two Rangers personnel got wounded in the attack.
Soon after the incident, security forces reached the spot and cordoned off the area. The wounded men were rushed to local hospital for medical assistance.— NNI
