Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has summoned chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf, Imran Khan today for violating the code of conduct.
He is accused of using unethical language during election campaign by opposition parties. EC took Suo Moto notice and summoned Imran Khan today.
EC instructed him to appear privately or by lawyer.
Four-member bench of EC will hear the Suo Moto notice against Imran Khan, notice were taken on the basis of media’s news.
Imran Khan has to explain whatever he said during the election campaign.
Earlier, EC instructed the candidate of all the political parties to be careful while giving speech.
