ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court on Tuesday reserved its verdict on a petition filed against close aide of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman Imran Kahn, Zulfi Bukhari, Aaj News reported.
As the hearing commenced, Justice Aamer Farooq questioned what law was in place regarding blacklisting of any individual. Why Bukhari’s name was removed from the blacklist after a phone call?, said Justice Farooq.
Last month Bukhari was thwarted to travel abroad with PTI’s chief to perform Umrah in Saudi Arabia, but was stopped from leaving the country due to his name being on the blacklist.
However, Bukhari was granted permission after brief moment to travel abroad with Khan.
