Web Desk: Indian Prime Minister is always in news for his visits in foreign countries. No matter, why he made diplomatic trips like for bringing foreign investments and friends to India, but the trips costs the country a lot.
According to Indian government, 2773 crore, Modi spent on chartered flights, maintenance of aircraft and hotline facilities during PM’s visit to 84 countries since June 2014.
According to the data, a total of Rs 1,088.42IND crore was spent on maintenance of the Prime Minister’s aircraft and Rs 387.26IND crore on chartered flights during the period between June 15, 2014 and June 10, 2018. The total expenditure on hotline was Rs 9.12IND crore.
PM Modi visited 84 countries in 42 foreign trips since May 2014. The expenditure on hotline facilities during his foreign visit in 2017-18 and 2018-19 has not been included.
