Web Desk: Parents especially young parents always worry about their child’s sleeping disorder. But a study found that babies sleep better and suffer fewer serious sleep problems if they are introduced to solid foods early.
The method ‘Safe to Sleep’ says that parents should put babies to sleep on their backs, not on their stomach until a certain age.
In the study, there were two groups, one was encouraged to breastfeed for six months while the second group was asked to introduce solid foods to their infants’ diet from the age of three months.
According to the study, infants who had solids introduced early slept longer and woke less frequently than those infants that followed standard advice to exclusively breastfeeding to around six months of age.
