Islamabad: Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that opposition had no right to hold the position of Public Accounts Committee, Aaj News reported.
Speaking to media in Bani Gala, Information Minister asked, “how can the government give Shahbaz Sharif hold of the audit of Nawaz Sharif’s plan?”
“Current bureaucracy has been handpicked by N-League and People’s Party, situations will be changed after the arrival of Tehreek-e-Insaaf,” he added.
Fawad chaudhry also added, “Bureaucracy’s moral training is like Zardari and Nawaz Sharif.”
He said the government does not believe in interventions in elections and that is why no administrative changes have been made in the constituencies where bye-elections are being held.
On a question regarding the appointment of Chairman Public Accounts Committee, the Minister said he personally believes that opposition has not right on this position. However, final decision on this issue will be taken by the party with consensus.
