Islamabad: Traditional rivals Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and Muslim League-N (PML-N) are in the run for the election in Islamabad constituency-53. There are strict security arrangements.
In Rawalpindi’s constituency NA- 60, there is a tough election fight between PML-N and PTI, including Pakistan Muslim League-N’s candidate Nasir Khan, PTI’s Sheikh Rashid Shafiq, 8 candidates are contestants. Three hundred and twenty-eight polling stations have been set up in the circle.
There will be the biggest contest between Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and PML-N in Lahore, and both the parties have made a lot of preparation for victory. PML-N’s candidate is Khawaja Saad Rafiq while PTI’s candidate will be Humayun Akhtar.
The polling process is being carried out in Sahiwal’s constitution PP- 201, there is a tough fight between PML-N’s Tafil Jat and PTI’s Samsam Bukhari in the constituency, and security arrangements are being made.
Another major constituency is NA-124, where the candidate of the Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Dewan will face former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
PP-87 from Mianwali, the candidate of the Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Malik Ahmed Khan has been elected.
There will be a tough competition in the Karachi’s constituency NA-243.
In the Karachi constituency PS 87, there is a competition between PPP, PTI, MMA and MQM.
