LAHORE: Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan on Saturday lamented the reports about the proposed meetings of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, terming it a nexus to save the corruption of their families.
In a statement issued here, Khan alleged that both the PPP & PML-N have bad track record of their government in which their leaders did nothing but looted national exchequer and established properties abroad.
The Senior Minister also criticized Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazal ur Rehman for playing role in this regard.
He said that only after two months, criticism on incumbent government has no weight and everybody knows that this is untimely call which would get no response.
Those trying to bring Zardari and Sharif closer are equally responsible and masses would never support such tactics, he added. —INP
