Web Desk: Still our planet is filled with the people who selflessly risk their lives in order to save others, without even demanding a single thing from them.
The 41-year-old Indian man, Pargat Singh always lived with a mission to save other drowning in deep and dangerous water bodied in the north Indian state of Haryana. By profession, he is a dairy farmer.
He saved people, fetched dead bodies and battled ferocious animals who threatened human lives. He roughly saved 1650 lives from drowning in Punjab and Haryana while retrieving 11,802 bodies.
On October 23, he had an accident, in which he got severely injured along with his wife. He needs money for the treatment, but no one is coming forward to help him.
Over the years, he has been honored more than 275 times by different organisations including the administration. But sadly, Indian government has neglected his work and didn’t come forward to help him while the people of the district have come forward to help him.
Administration should provide a helping hand to the Pargat who has been serving humanity for long.”
