Pakistani celebrities send out heartfelt messages for the passengers of ill-fated plane

A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane carrying approximately 100 passengers and crew crashed on Friday in a residential area of Karachi, with many feared dead, officials said. Flight PK 8303 had taken off from Lahore and was bound for Karachi, where it crashed minutes before landing due to technical reasons.

The tragic incident has saddened the whole nation. As soon as the news of the devastating crash came out, Pakistani celebrities started sending out heartfelt messages and condolences for the passengers of ill-fated plane, and their families.

Laal Kabootar famed actor Mansha Pasha took to Twitter to send out an empathetic message. In a tweet, she wrote:

“Prayers and condolences for all those who have lost their lives. May Allah give them strength. Ameen.”

Stage and TV actor Osman Khalid Butt called the news horrific:
“What horrific news on this, the last jummah before Eid. I can’t even begin to imagine the devastation caused by the crash. Hoping and praying for survivors.”

Actor Mahira Khan wrote on Twitter:
“Praying praying praying hard for all the families affected by this crash, the departed and for those who have survived…Allah Reham.”

Faysal Quraishi was also amongst those sending out prayers for victims:

“Lots of prayers for all the departed souls in a #planecrash heartbroken news …ALLAH pak sab ko apni hifzo amaan mey rakhy.”

Multi-talented Hareem Farooq also voiced her sentiments on Twitter:
“Deeply saddened and shocked about the plane crash in khi, my heart goes out to all the families who lost their loved ones today! I also hope and pray that there are survivors since I’ve been hearing there might be! Waiting for a miracle. Ya Allah Pak reham!”

Actor Ali Rehman called the news heartbreaking:

“Heartbreaking news right before Eid! Ya Allah, forgive us. The uncertainty of life and the certainty of death scares me. My heart goes out to all the families and affectees of today’s tragic incident. Please especially pray for all of them #PlaneCrash.”

Baaghi actor Saba Qamar Zaman wrote on Twitter:

“My heart goes out to all the victims and their families in this crucial time! My mind has gone numb and I am out of words after listening to this Terrible news!”
