Noor Mukadam’s friends on Monday organised a peaceful demonstration outside the Islamabad High Court demanding punishment for her killer and justice for the 26-year-old woman murdered on July 20.

The protesters held placards with slogans like "Justice for Noor", “Justice for Noor Aapa”, “No mercy no bail for the accomplices”, “Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, life for life, death for the murderer”.

Former dipomat Shaukat Mukadam, Noor’s father, also attended the protest.

Noor was beheaded in Islamabad on July 20. According to the challan presented by the police in court, Zahir Jaffer, the prime suspect of her murder, has confessed killing Noor. It also confirmed that Noor had been raped before killing.
