With the National Assembly session summoned for the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan due tomorrow, the united opposition's long march against inflation has departed from Karachi, reported Aaj News on Thursday.

A greeting camp was set up by the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam—Fazl party at Sohrab Goth to welcome the opposition party workers and protesters under the leadership of Rashid Soomro.

As per the initial planning of the opposition party, the rally will reach Hyderabad at 1pm, Matyari at 2pm, Nawabshah at 3pm, Noshero Feroze at 6pm, Khairpur at 8pm and Sukkur Tent City at 10pm.

Under the leadership of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the protesters' caravan will depart from DI Khan on March 26, while other rallies from Balochistan will depart on March 25 (tomorrow).

Opposition rallies will enter the federal capital on March 26 and will gather at the Srinagar Highway at G-9.

A change in the schedule of the opposition long march also led to a delay in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's rally from Lahore. As per the new schedule, the caravan will depart from Punjab's capital on March 26 and reach Islamabad on March 28 under the leadership of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and leader Hamza Shehbaz.

Ahead of the no-trust motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Pakistan Democratic Movement decided to march towards Islamabad against the rising inflation across the country.

The Pakistan People’s Party had conducted a long march titled ‘Awami March’ in the beginning of the month. The long march started from Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum in Karachi and reached Islamabad’s D-Chowk on March 8 where the rally concluded.

The PTI government has also planned a public gathering in Islamabad on March 27.
