There was a consensus in army leadership on the return of ailing former president Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf to the country, the country’s armed forces spokesperson said in an interview with a news channel.

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Babar Iftikhar also said there was no increase in the defence budget since 2020. He added that there was no conspiracy hatched against former government.
