Pakistan dispatches relief goods for Afghanistan earthquake victims

The National Disaster Management Authority has dispatched relief goods to Afghanistan after an earthquake killed more than 1,000 people, reported Aaj News on Thursday.

Tents, tarpaulin, blankets and necessary medication have been sent to our neighbouring country on eight trucks.

Meanwhile, the Edhi Foundation also sent relief items for affected Afghan families.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his solidarity with the people of Afghanistan while also promising support.

Pakistan’s ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmed Khan called on Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Sher Abbas Stanikzai and expressed condolences over the loss of lives.
