KARACHI : The atmosphere in Karachi presented deserted look on Saturday as the city mourned the deaths of Karachi twin blasts occurred on Friday on the occasion of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A), Aaj News reported.
The strike call was given by Shia scholars along with other scholars.
Meanwhile, Karachi Transport Ittihad (KTI) and traders had also announced to support the strike by keeping all the transport off the roads and close their business. The markets and business places remain closed while traffic also remained thin. The attendance in public and private offices also witnessed low.
Where as City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal had announced closure of all schools operating under CDGK.
