Saturday, 6 Feb, 2010 11:08 pm
KARACHI : Leader of Shia Ulema Council Allama Syed Sajid Naqvi on Saturday called upon the government to constitute a high level enquiry into the blasts which occurred on Muharram 8, 9, 10 and the two blasts on the day of Chehlum.

He was addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club here.

He said that a probe commission needs to conduct an independent enquiry and the culprits behind these acts of terrorism be unveiled.

Allama Naqvi also called for compensation to the bereaved families of all martyrs in blasts and the injured, without any discrimination.

He said that the tragedy which occurred on the day of Chehlum in the city, was continuity of the Ashura blast in December last near Light House on M.A. Jinnah Road.
