LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday met Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad Al-Juhany where both exchanged thoughts on multiple issues including the current problems faced by the Muslim Ummah.
During the meeting, Usman Buzdar and Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad discussed the existing bilateral ties.
On this occasion, Chief Minister of Punjab claimed that Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad’s arrival to Pakistan is an honour and delight for the country.
Stating that Pakistan and the Kingdom have historic brotherly relations between them, Sardar Usman maintained that Saudi Arabia has always stood by Pakistan’s side on every tough occasion.
He also recalled the time when Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Slaman visited Pakistan in recent times.
“We can never forget the cooperation of Saudi Arabia. Crown Prince’s visit opened door to a new range of relations”, he said.
Imam-e-Kaabah reciprocated Punjab CM’s good wishes and said that he received intense love and affection during his visit, making it an unforgettable visit.
“Pakistanis and Saudis possess attachment for one another. Government and public of Saudi Arabia will always have its hearts open to Pakistan”, Imam-e-Kaabah Dr Abdullah Awad added. —INP
