Justice Shoukat Aziz Siddiqui issued the directive while hearing a plea filed by former president Rawalpindi High Court Bar Association Sheikh Ahsanuddin for provision of security to the former chief justice.

During the course of hearing, Joint Secretary of Cabinet Division, Ziaul-Haq appeared before the court and presented a notification for providing a bullet proof car of 2005 model to former Chief Justice.

In earlier hearing,the Court had ordered the cabinet division to provide a bullet proof vehicle within three days to former Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
