      <description>&lt;p&gt;ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday urged the diplomats to make efforts to further enhance Pakistan’s economic and trade ties with the countries of their posting abroad.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The President was talking to Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to Serbia, Arif Mehmood who called on him here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr and discussed matters pertaining to his diplomatic assignment.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The President felicitated Arif Mehmood on his new responsibilities and urged him to focus on strengthening Pakistan’s bilateral relations with Serbia particularly trade and commercial ties.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He said the government attaches great importance to the promotion of trade and economic cooperation as an integral part of its foreign policy objectives.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The President stated that Pakistan values its bilateral relations with Serbia and advised the newly appointed ambassador to focus on strengthening Pak-Serbia bilateral relations and mutual cooperation in diverse areas.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The ambassador-designate thanked the President for reposing confidence in him and assured that he would do his best to augment Pakistan’s bilateral relations with Serbia with particular focus on enhancing trade, business and Commercial ties.&lt;/p&gt;
