&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;MULTAN: Multan police have shifted 50,000 flood-hit people to safe places during a rescue operation across the district.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to a press release issued here on Sunday, areas of 09 police stations of the district have been affected by the recent flooding including Alpa, Sadar, Qutabpur, Cantt, City Shujabad, Muzaffarabad, Sadar Shujabad, City and Sadar Jalalpur.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It also said that police officials performed duties at four embankments in shifts including Bund Bosan, Akbar Bund Nawabpur, Soraj Miani Bund and Sher Shah Bund.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Twenty-four relief camps have been set up across the district were police officials are also performing duties in shifts.&lt;/p&gt;
