SARGODHA: The district police on Monday claimed to have arrested fourteen drug pushers, recovered narcotics and illegal weapons from their possession.

Police spokesman said different police stations' teams conducted raids within the areas of their limits and arrested fourteen accused identified as Gulzar Ahmed r/o Buchha Kalan,Mohammed Riaz of Anjala,Munawwar Ahmed of Midh Ranjha,Mazahar Abbas of Kundaan, Anwar Maseeh, Jaffar Maseeh and Rashid Maseeh of Chak 79 NB, Abid Shahzad of Chak 63 SB, Mujahid Abbas, Rafi Ullah of Chak 114 SB, Sadiq of Village Miana, Samar Hussain of Thatti Noor, Adeel Ahmed of Aziz Abad, and Tariq Mehmood of Chak 67 SB.

Police teams recovered 1290 gram Heroin,1175 gram Charas,175 bottle liquor,03 Guns 12 Bore and 03 Pistols 30 Bore along with a number of liquor bottles and cartridges from their possession.

Separate cases were registered against the accused.
