Bella Hadid has called out Instagram for censoring a post that stated her father Mohammed Hadid was born in Palestine, as it apparently breached Instagram's company guidelines.

Hadid had shared a photo of her father's passport along with a caption:

"my baba and his birthplace of Palestine"

However, her post was removed by Instagram for breaching the community guidelines, the supermodel said in her story.

"Instagram, what part of me being proud of my father's birthplace of Palestine is "bullying, harassment, graphic or sexual nudity"?" the supermodel questioned and added, "Are we not allowed to be Palestinians on Instagram? This, to me, is bullying."

Hadid uploaded another story saying she is proud to be a Palestinian and asked her 31.4 million followers to post about their heritage to send the blogging site a message that people are proud of their heritage.

This isn't the first time social media companies are accused of showing biases towards Palestine. In April 2020, a report published by 7amleh – The Arab Center for the Advancement of Social Media accused social media giant YouTube of violating the digital rights of Palestinians.
