Pakistan's de facto health minister said that the frontline healthcare providers are our real heroes and the government will not oppose their genuine demands. He gave the assurance during his visit to the largest government hospital in the capital, PIMS, to convince its employees to end their protest and ensured them that all their issues will be addressed on a priority basis.

Dr. Sultan asked for cooperation from the healthcare workers protesting and told them that all available resources are being utilized to ensure the provision of quality health services at public hospitals. He also encouraged the doctors, nurses, and other paramedical staff to get vaccinated as soon as possible, dubbing the Sinopharm vaccines as safe.
