Pakistan on Wednesday has reported 1,786 new cases and 43 COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours.

According to statistics shared by National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the country's nerve center for unified efforts against coronavirus, 39,425 coronavirus tests were taken, 1,786 new confirmed cases were registered, and 43 deaths were reported countrywide in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 1,664 critical patients of COVID-19 admitted at different hospitals in the country.

With these latest statistics, the country's total number of confirmed cases stands at 595.239. Pakistan has so far recorded 13,324 coronavirus-related deaths, and a total of 565,216 patients have recovered from the novel disease.

The country has so far conducted 9318038 coronavirus tests countrywide.

According to the statistics shared by the Ministery of National Health Service, the current positivity rate is 4.5%.
