KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department has issued a notification to keep the schools close across the province till further notice.

According to the notification issued by the Sindh Education Department, all public and private educational institutions will remain closed till further orders.

Earlier on August 20, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had said the educational institutions will reopen from August 30.

While announcing the decision Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had said that teachers, staff and parents should be vaccinated before schools reopen.

Earlier this month Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah had said that schools would reopen with only 50% of students in attendance, while the educational institutions that have a full vaccination rate will be allowed a 100% student strength.
