Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday resolved to improve the system in the country, saying the real struggle was to implement the system in which “rule of law will prevail”.

He expressed this while inaugurating an international hotel in Nathia Gali, a hill station in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Abbottabad district.

The prime minister emphasized the need for investment by the expatriates, saying “the most basic need of the country is wealth creation that will lead to new jobs, increase amount of tax collection and reduce the burden of debts.”

“Overseas Pakistanis demand opportunities in the country for investment as they seek ample options to invest their wealth once they will be back in the country,” said the prime minister.

According to the figures presented by the prime minister, nine million Pakistanis were living abroad.

He claimed the annual income of overseas Pakistanis, who are skilled and wealthy, is equal to the income of all people in the country.

The premier accused the previous system prevailing in the country for forcing the skilled labour to leave Pakistan.

He said the expats were not getting opportunities to function in the country.

“The opportunities for the job will be generated with the investment of expats in the country,” he said.

Talking about the tourism, the prime minister said the country has great potential in tourism, but the country has not yet started travelling the road which leads towards successful setting up the industry.
