Pakistanis turned to Twitter on Saturday to wish each other a Merry Christmas. The social media site was flooded with messages of love and peace, with people urging the government to ensure safety of minorities in Pakistan.

The President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi wished the Christians in Pakistan, and all over the world, a Merry Christmas.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also took to Twitter to felicitate Pakistani Christians.

One Twitter users shared what they wanted for Christmas.

A sweet video of a guitarist and saxophonist playing the Christmas song, 'Jingle Bells' made rounds on social media.

Along with Christmas, many people also celebrated Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s birthday on Twitter.
