Director Asim Raza’s 2019 rom-com feature film ‘Parey Hut Love’ has won the best film in Wholesome Entertainment award at the South Asia Forum for Art and Creative Heritage (SAFACH)'s International Film Festival.

SAFACH is first of its kind South Asian travelling international film and it third edition took place in December in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The film features Shehryar Munawar and Maya Ali and revolves around a free-willed, aspiring actor and a strong headed girl as they meet and fall in love in a series of unplanned encounters.

Other members in the cast include , Nadeem Baig, Ahmed Ali Butt, Zara Noor Abbas, Hina Dilpazeer, Rachel Viccaji, Frieha Altaf and Parisheh James.

Raza, the film’s director took to Instagram to share the news. “Congratulations to the most amazing team in the world, I am so blessed to be a part of you,” he said.

The post by Raza received messages congratulating him on the achievement. Singer and actor Azaan Sami Khan who composed the music for ‘Parey Hut Love’ also commented on the post.
