Fakhar Zaman played a brilliant 106-run knock off 60 ball as Lahore Qalandars inflicted a third straight defeat for the hosts and get Qalandars' first win of this season in the sixth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Qalandars chased down the 171-run target in 19.4 overs, with Mohammad Hafeez and Samit Patel playing small cameos to lead them to the victory.

Muhammad Nabi has claimed two wickets for Karachi Kings. The batsmen from Lahore Qalandars Abdullah Shafique scored 8 runs on 8 balls while Kamran Ghulam scored 6 runs on 9 balls before they lost their wickets.

The Lahore side was well under the control of the game until Imad Wasim came into the attack and got the better of veteran Muhammad Hafeez for 24.

Samit smacked a four on the first ball of the final over and he finished the chase in the next delivery to remain unbeaten on 26 off 18 deliveries.

Earlier the Lahore Qalandards won the toss and decided to field first against Karachi Kings.

Karachi Kings' scored 170 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs with Sharjeel Khan playing a brilliant 60-run knock 0ff 39 balls with3 sixes and 8 fours before Mohammad Hafeez took his wicket.

Mohammad Nabi was sent up the order to continue the momentum, but he managed just 15 off 14 deliveries while the middle order could not stick around for a long time. Azam was dismissed in the 15th over for a well made 41 while Joe Clarke remained unbeaten in the end with an 18 ball 24.
