Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has alleged that the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute came to a grinding halt for two years because of the PTI government’s dirty politics, demanding the leaders watch out for the public money.

PM Shehbaz on Sunday inaugurated the 350-bed Saleem Memorial Hospital in Lahore, which would treat patients suffering from different illnesses – cancer, kidney, and heart diseases.

During the visit to different sections of the hospital, officials briefed the premier that the latest machinery was installed in the hospital.

In his address, the premier urged the political parties to rise above their likes and dislikes and works for the betterment of the public. He stressed the need for working for the public.

PM Shehbaz urged business magnate Mian Mansha to set up four such hospitals in other big cities of the country, adding that the 220 million population of the country would remember him for such a cause.

“And this work will be done when you will take out Rs4-6 billion for the cause and this a drop in the ocean for Mian [Mansha] Sb,” he said, adding that it would be a “great contribution” to the business tycoon and expressed for such a step.

“Hopefully, he [Mian Mansha] will have a profit of Rs60 billion if he will invest Rs6 billion,” PM Shehbaz said.
