ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that no deal is going to be struck with International Monetary Fund.

Speaking exclusively on the Aaj News program "Faisla Aap Ka", Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that matters have been settled with IMF, but Pakistan is not going to make any deal with them.

"We have to bear the brunt of the incompetence of the previous government," he said while criticizing the Imran Khan led government.

"I was in favor of elections immediately after the no-confidence motion," the PML-N leader said adding that it would take six to seven months to hold elections.

Talking about Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's visit to London with other Cabinet members, the PML-N leader said that consultations were being held between the PML-N leadership in London in which difficult decisions have to be taken due to economic conditions. "We have to act as a responsible country," he added.

Speaking about electoral reforms, Abbasi said that electoral reforms are done through consultation.

"We had approached PTI for consultation on electoral reforms but they had made their own decisions without consultation."

Speaking about PTI Chairman Imran Khan's march toward Islamabad, he said that if Imran Khan would violate the constitution then there would be a confrontation.

Addressing a public gathering in Abbottabad on Sunday, Imran Khan claimed that the vision of Pakistan would be clear when three million people will march to Islamabad as a protest against the “imported government”.
