Some leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf got themselves arrested, said party leader Syed Yawar Bukhari.

The PTI leader was referring to the arrest of party leaders on May 24 and the day of the Long March i.e. May 25.

While talking on Aaj News show Aaj Rana Mubashir Kay Sath, Yawar Bukhari said PTI chief Imran Khan has taken notice of those who made phone calls to get arrested.

When asked if he admits that some leaders did this on purpose, Yawar Bukhari said, “Yes, yes, [I] admit. Such people exist in every party.”

He recalled a similar instance, saying, “I remember when Nawaz Sharif was coming and we were in opposition during Pervez Musharraf’s tenure. PML-N leaders came out and got themselves arrested.”

He called such people frauds.

Yawar Bukhari talked about the next step his party intends to take, saying they will now come out with children.

“We will keep our children on the front and then see how they resort to shelling. We will get a date for elections in the country.”
