Pakistan’s top stories on Saturday, June 12 are:

Pakistan has condemned Indian action against Muslims protesting against BJP leaders’ Islamophobic remarks and demanded of the international community to take notice.

A National Assembly session has been summoned on the issue at the request of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

At least three Kashmiris were killed in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s area Pulwama by occupation forces. At least three people were arrested by the occupation forces during a raid in Srinagar and other areas.

Pre-monsoon season has begun in Pakistan. Several cities of Punjab receive rain with thunderstorm, causing disruption of electricity. Met Office said that gusty/dust-raising winds are likely in central/southern Punjab and upper Sindh with rain-wind/thunderstorms in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Islamabad, Pothohar region, upper Punjab and upper/central Balochistan on Sunday (today).

Rain spell was expected to continue till mid-August.

No MoUs or agreements were signed during former prime minister Imran Khan’s visit to Kremlin, Russian envoy to Pakistan Danila Ganich said at Aaj News show.

Humayum Saeed and Mehwish Hayat will again appear on the big screen and this time for the sequel of London Nahi Jaungi. London Nahi Jaunga trailer has been released and the film will be in cinemas on Eidul Azha.
