After Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh also eases restrictions in business hours ahead of Eid ul Azha

KARACHI: Following the footsteps of Islamabad and Punjab, the Sindh government also eased restrictions in business closing hours ahead of Eid ul Azha from Sunday (today) till July 10, according to a notification issued on Sunday.

As per the new notification, markets, shopping malls and restaurants would be exempted from the restrictions till July 10 and they could resume the business activities till late night “in public interest”.

The Sindh government along with other provinces had announced closure of markets and shopping malls by 9pm and wedding halls, restaurants and coffee shops by 11pm to save the energy consumption, according to a notification issued by the Home Department on June 17.

The notification issued on June 17 will be implemented again from July 11, said the new document.
