FAISALABAD: Four epople were killed over a dispute on Friday in City Jaranwala police limits.

A police spokesman said Qasim, Adnan and Wajid of  Chak No 228-RB Makkoana were returning after attending the  court hearing in the court of additional district and Sessions  judge when unidentified assailants on two motorcycles opened  firing on them outside Tehsil Katchery premises.

As a result, Qasim, Adnan and Wajid died on the spot while a passerby, Iqbal, was shifted to a hospital where he died.

On information, SP Jaranwala Arif Shehbaz Wazir, SP CIA FArooq Hundal and other officers reached the spot and took the bodies into custody.

Talking to the media, SP Arif Wazir said police had received a complaint that Qasim Adnan etc were shot dead by their rivals Yaseen etc over litigation. However, police are investigating to ascertain facts and arrest of the accused.
