MULTAN: Local courts have issued death warrants of two murder convicts for their execution at new Central Jail Multan on Mar 17, court officials said.

The anti terrorism court No 1 Multan issued death warrant against accused Zafar Iqbal who was awarded death sentence for killing a minor girl at Lodhran in 1996.

The district and sessions judge Multan also issued death warrant against an accused Waqar Nazir who had killed Malik Rafiq in dacoity at Mumtazabad in 1996. He would also be executed at new Central Jail Multan on Mar 17.
