HYDERABAD:  Commissioner Hyderabad  Asif Hyder Shah has asked the concerned police officers and other law enforcing agencies to make foolproof security arrangements during the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain.

The Commissioner during a meeting on Wednesday directed the DIG Police  Sanaullah Abbasi to ensure increased vigilance in all parts of the  Division. He also urged to have close liaison between law enforcers and event organizers.

Briefing the meeting about security arrangements, DIGP said that a security plan for Chehlum has been chalked out under which strict patrolling would be ensured on the routes of processions and at the points of Majalis in the Division.

The Commissioner also called upon the officers concerned to make foolproof security and other civic arrangements in advance for 12th Rabiul-Awal.
