Taylor Swift has been named the entertainer of the year at the Academy of Country Music awards while Miranda Lambert walked away with four trophies.

The other big winners were Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley and Sugarland.

Swift was nominated alongside Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban for the fan-voted award, the Hollywood Reporter said.

"This is the first time that I`ve ever won this, and I`m just losing my mind," Swift, 21, said.

Lambert took home four awards, including female vocalist of the year. Her single `The House That Built Me` earned honors for song of the year, single record of the year and video of the year.
