The toll in the ongoing target killings rose to 35 on Sunday as firing incidents claimed lives of 12 more people and left many others injured amid high alert in Karachi.

Targeted killings and Violence continued, there was no sign of its end. In Baldia Town, unknown assailants opened fire on a house, killing a couple.

A man, 40, died in firing incident near Power House in New Karachi. Unidentified armed men has killed a man near Nagina Bus-stop in Kimari while a youth received bullet injuries near Chappal Chowk in Lyari.

Two more people were injured in Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Baldia Town. A dead body was found in Saadi Town graveyard in Malir. The dead man identified as Naib Nazim of Shanti Nagar UC, Gulshan-e-Iqbal.

At least seven more people were lost their lives in separate incidents of firing in different areas of metropolis.
