Four died as van plunges into ditch in AJK
At least four people were killed and six injured when a van missed a sharp turn and plunged off the road into a deep ditch in Azad Kashmir on Monday.
The accident took place in Jhelum Valley. Police said that the van was going to Muzzaffarabad from Din district. The driver lost his control over the bus and fell into a deep ditch.
Rescue workers have recovered 4 bodies. The injured have been shifted to CMH and Abbas Medical Center in Muzzaffarabad.
Police have arrested van driver Mohammad Naseer for investigation. Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Sardar Attique Ahmad has directed to pay compensation to the relatives of people who were killed in the accident.
